BOSTON CREAM PIE
INGREDIENTS:
1 round yellow cake layer (8 or 9 inch)
1 cup cold milk
1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O™ Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
1-1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP™ Whipped Topping
1 square BAKER'S™ Unsweetened Chocolate
1 Tablespoon Butter
3/4 cup powdered sugar
2 Tablespoons cold milk
PROCEDURES:
Cut cake into two layers with serrated knife (thin string or sewing thread or dental floss works well, also.)
Beat one cup milk and pudding mix with whisk for two minutes.
Fold in COOL WHIP((tm)).
Let stand 5 min.
Put one cake layer on serving plate.
Spread the pudding mixture on top.
Place the second cake layer on top of the pudding mixture.
Microwave the chocolate and butter on HIGH for one minute. Stir until chocolate is melted.
Add the powdered sugar and two Tablespoons of milk; mix well.
Spread over cake.
Refrigerate for one hour.
Refrigerate any leftovers.
